Draft a business plan

I request a business plan in reply to your email if I am interested in the project after having studied the teaser. I want to understand the direction you're going in: how you plan to manage the business to ensure its profitability and return on investment.

Personal meeting

The third stage is a personal meeting or video call. Business is all about people. It's important for me to get to the know the entrepreneur and their team and discuss the business plan.

What should be in the teaser?

Please, describe:
the product and its target market, your current status quo (sales, pilots), objectives and KPI's to be covered by investment, deadlines for the goals and KPI's.

Please, specify:
the project's time in existence, amount of funds invested into the project, amount of funds required and the objectives these funds should cover, the team, its expertise and motivation, the project's current evaluation.

What startups do I invest in?

I'm interested in projects that can work in South-Eastern Europe, Russia, the USA and others

The project should be scalable to major markets.

This is the segment I'm best versed in and can determine the business model's chances of success. I only invest in areas of business I understand.

I'm only interested in tech business projects

I always say, I don't invest in ideas. I invest in a finished product.

The startup should already have an MVP

The product should be market-tested and have its first reviews and a scaling plan.

The project should have market validation

My investment check size ranges from $150,000 to $1,5 mln

Seed stage and higher

This is a subjective judgement: whether I like the project or not. Apart from that, the most important thing about business are the people who run it. I should like the team, their enthusiasm and professionalism.
